Reviewer for Project Proposals

• Evaluating projects submitted to Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council (TUBITAK), 2002-2003, since 2008.
  
  The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is the leading agency for management, funding and conduct of research in Turkey (http://www.tubitak.gov.tr/). TÜBİTAK is responsible for promoting, developing, organizing, conducting and coordinating research and development in line with national targets and priorities. Over the last years I have fulfilled the following roles in the project evaluations. 
  (1) Scientific Panel Member
  (2) Project Reviewer in the initial submission process
  (3) Project Reviewer after the projects have been accepted.
  
  I have evaluated around 50 project proposals with the budget ranging from 200k to 3000k euro. The topics are primarily related to software engineering, including enterprise application integration, cloud computing, model-driven development, agile software development, middleware technology, global software development, hardware-software co-design, software process improvement, etc.

• Anonymous External Reviewer for Czech Science Foundation, 2012.

• Academic Consultant, on software architecture designs produced by IBM Architecture Design Class, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, June 2001.
