During my complete software engineering background I have
been involved in many different types of projects:
-
International projects that are realized with a
consortium consisting of partners in different European
countries and which are funded by EU commission. These are
typically projects in the FP5-FP6-FP7 and ITEA2.
-
National projects that are projects funded
by national science organizations. For my period in The
Netherlands this was typically the
Netherlands Institute for
Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).
In Turkey this is basically
Scientific and
Technological Research Council Turkey (TUBITAK) and
local companies.
-
Academic design projects in the last year of
the university program that are carried out with a group of
3-4 students. The last two years the different teams that I
supervised got the 2. and 3. prize in the Turkey IBM
Software Design Contest. Further, we reached twice the
finals of the Turkey Microsoft Imagine Cup Contest in which
we got the 3. prize. Other projects resulted in scientific
papers or company startups.
