No doubt,
software
has gained a critical role in current society and has become a mission
critical asset for many organizations. For developing highly effective
systems that can be delivered with the required quality and within the
time-to-market constraints, organizations need to acquire the necessary
knowledge on the state-of the-art of software engineering.
Even for organizations
that traditionally focused on hardware engineering, we can see the claimed
dominant role of software to become successful.
In fact it is "with us or without us", software engineering
is nowadays an important discipline and will remain this for the coming
decade(s).
I have around 20 years of professional experience
in research, teaching and consultancy for dozens of software companies in different areas of software engineering. To share
my experience and knowledge I offer consultancy and education activities for
industry. I can help mapping industrial problems to research problems and
vice versa, to minimize the gap between the state-of-the-practice in the
organization and the state-of-the-art concepts in research. Also beyond
consultancy I am very much interested in collaborative research projects.
In my career I have provided education and consultancy
activities for dozens of companies such as Philips, Thales, Ericsson,
Aselsan, IBM, Havelsan, TAI, STM, Cybersoft, Milsoft, and Tubitak. Very
often these activities were combined in or led to a research collaboration.
If you are interested please contact me for the details.
