Architecture-View Consistency Checking with Model Driven Engineering

Detecting the inconsistencies between software architectural views plays an important role when an engineer/architect in the design phase. Because of the fact that many problems in a system arise from the faults in the design phase, recognising these inconsistencies and fixing them are significant. A systematic literature review is done by the research criteria that we created within the software engineering conferences and journals. We reviewed the papers related to our search criteria and 26 of them were selected as primary studies that satisfy our research questions. We analyze these studies according to our evaluation criteria and show their positive sides and inadequacies of them. In this work, we analyze the inconsistencies between the architectural views from Views and Beyond Approach and create a plugin in order to detect and fix the inconsistencies between architectural views.
