DDS Middleware and Data Centric Architecture

What is DDS: Data Distribution DDS Specification (Version 1.2) issued by Object Management Group (OMG) to achieve data centric publish-subscribe mechanism for distributed applications. DDS middleware achieves wire level interoperability through OMG Real-time Publish-Subscribe (RTPS) protocol (V2.1).
DDS middleware becomes widely adopted by defense domain for designing distributed system. DDS also has great potential for integrating edge system with enterprise systems (DDS EE). Another potential area for DDS is Internet of things.
This presentation will introduce:

- DDS quality of service capabilities for addressing quality attributes
- MilSOFT DDS ant tools
- Road to DDS EE
- DDS middleware and Industrial Internet
Bio: He has Bs. On Computer Engineering at Hacettepe University (1995) and MSc (1997) on Computer Engineering at Bilkent University. He is currently Senior Software Architect at MilSOFT. He has worked on MilSOFT Combat Management System software development and MilSOFT Data Distribution Service (DDS) implementation. He worked as technical lead for Turkish Coast guard Search and Rescue Ship. He is also Technical Conference Committee member of MAST conference.
