Chisio: Compound or Clustered Graph Visualization Tools
Chisio is a project aimed at developing free, open source software for layout and interactive visualization and editing of networks. The project especially focuses on visualization of compound and clustered relational information.
Following software components have been produced as part of the project:
- ChiLay (Chisio Layout): a graphics/rendering independent Java component, which can be used by interactive graph editing tools to automatically layout compound or clustered graphs as well as simple, flat graphs.
- ChiEd (Chisio Editor): a graph visualization application in Java for creating, editing and layout of compound or clustered graphs as well as flat graphs. It uses the ChiLay component for layout services.
