Conference City and Region

The Nineteenth International Symposium on Computer and Information Sciences (ISCIS) will be held in the Kemer district of the city Antalya, Turkey on 27-29 October 2004. Because of the natural beauty by the Mediterranean coast and archeological richness of the area, Kemer is sometimes called the Turkish Riviera. Sea and sun, nature and history all come together in magical harmony in Kemer, where one can enjoy the magnificent scenery and relaxing atmosphere. Kemer is an important tourism center with many resorts, restaurants, beach facilities, and close historical sites to visit.

TRAVEL TO TURKEY
The best way to travel to Turkey is by air. There are regular direct flights from some major cities in Europe (Munich, Frankurt) to the Antalya International Airport. There are also regular flights from most major cities in Europe, North America and the Far East to the Istanbul International Airport and one can get a connecting flight from the Istanbul International Airport to the Antalya Airport.

CLIMATE
Antalya enjoys a four-season climate. Approximately 300 days of the year is sunny.
