Seems the main reason we need AI... is the lack/decline of RI (real intelligence!)
AI is very interesting. But as important as AI is NI (natural intelligence) and the right use of it. That's the only way to get happy! Yours, Chris
Hi Gural, Thanks for your comments. While I agree it would be nice to put a summary of the proceedings of our meetings online, it is really a matter of time or rather lack of it. Dare I suggest that there is one very easy way to know what happened in the meetings - simply come to them! I too want more participation. However we can see almost every meetings and their subjects but I wish they had their material that had been used during the presentation/meeting. Seeing just the brief description of the meeting is not enough and never helps us. Please attach the materials that are covered in the meeting, to the page of that sucject (now on). Besides, I want to hear more activity for the students, such as repetition of the Logic Contest (canceled in 1996), or allowance us to attend your conferences about AI, maybe giving jobs in such conferences. These activities will provide us a clear view of AI and SIGART. If you give the chance, we will do our best!
